Shaheed Osman Hadi Murder: Justice, State Crisis and Hegemonic Structure
In continuation of the struggle for justice, Citizen Initiative is launched a new seminar series titled “Reframing Bangladesh,” dedicated to the soul of its first martyred community member, Shaheed Osman Hadi, and demanding justice for his murder.
In its 1st episode, CI hosted a seminar titled Shaheed Osman Hadi Murder: Justice, State Crisis and Hegemonic Structure in collaboration with the Centre for Governance and Civilizational Justice.
The seminar was held at the R.C. Majumder Auditorium of Dhaka University on Saturday (January 24) at 3.00 pm. Experts, researchers, activists, journalists, members of civil society, and well-wishers of Osman Hadi joined the discussion.

Citizen Initiative organized its 5th Policy Seminar of it’s Reshaping Bangladesh seminar Series to revisit the History of the University of Dhaka titled “History, Politics and Promise: a century of Dhaka University” on July 25, 2025, at the Abdullah Faruq Auditorium, MBA Building, Dhaka University, in the capital. Experts, researchers, activists, journalists, and civil society members joined in the discussion.
